We were honored to be joined by some of team from Miskin Radio as the ‘5th Dartford Players’ performed our production of ‘Oliver with a Twist‘. Throughout the evening, which included delicious cooked food and a raffle, we had a cracking time with singing and jokes and raised a couple of hundred quid for our New Hall Fund too. Check out the report on the evening from Miskin Radio here.
Well done to all the leaders and young members of the 5th Dartford Scout Group who represented us at the Dartford Masonic Centre’s craft fair on Sunday 27 October. As always, the centre generously rewarded our efforts with a share of the admissions, which on this occasion totaled £300. Scouts should remember to log your hours for the Kent Scout Volunteer Award.

For more information on how this special relationship benefits the young members of our group, now and in the future, please keep an eye on this website for regular updates.

On Sunday 14th July 2013 three Beavers from Peacock Colony and two Beavers from Philpott Colony attended the Chief Scouts Bronze Award presentation at St Mary’s Church, Greenhithe on a very hot afternoon.
The boys were called up to the stage individually and presented with their certificates all looking very smart. They did the 5th Dartford Scout Group proud as this is the highest award a Beaver Scout can earn.
Well Done lads! We look forward to seeing you all get the Silver Award as Cubs.
