Friends Of 5th

Every so often, a company or organisation is able to offer us grants, materials, sponsorship or facilities, which not only help us to enrich the activities and programme we are able to provide our young members, but often help us to help ourselves with media items including banners and flyers etc. On this page it’s our aim to thank these benefactors for their support and to recognise the valuable contribution they have made.

AKDIn June 2014, AKD Contracts Ltd generously donated and installed a steel staircase to access our climbing wall worth @ £25,000. We’d been accessing the top of our wall via scaffold, which whilst safe, wasn’t ideal & calls to suppliers for help always led nowhere, until one of our Exec members phoned AKD and MD Adam Clarke said that he could help us!
