After a considerable amount of planning, Collins Pack Cubs were given the opportunity to plant shrubs on behalf of Gallions Housing Association at their new development ‘Hall Quarter’ in Crayford’s Town Hall Square.
Gallions Housing supplied all the plants, tools and refreshments required for the project, all they needed was some eager Cubs who were willing to help and Collins Pack Cubs certainly did not let them down. The Cubs worked extremely well and followed instructions and turned 6 raised empty planters, located on the roundabout, into a floral display, which will benefit the local residents for many months to come.The Cubs completed this project as part of their Global Conservation Badge and will be finishing off the remaining parts of the badge requirements when they return in September.
