Gift Aid

It has came to that time of year when the group is looking at next years finances and we are afraid that due to increases in our costs (especially insurance) the Group will have to increase subscriptions as from April 2003.
It has been suggested that if we were to claim back your tax on donations (subscriptions) to the Group this will increase our income enough to cover the next year's short fall. But this can only be achieved if enough (tax paying) parents complete the Gift Aid Declaration Forms.

Please be assured that you will not have to make the claim from the tax office this will be handled by the Group and that we do not wish to know your income or tax details other than that you can confirm Note 1 on the declaration form is correct.

Should you have any queries I would be happy to help but I feel sure that most households pay more than £18.48 income tax a year (£6.00x 11 months = £66.00 @ .28p= £18.48 tax)

The gift aid delaration form has been created in a text file to try to make it available to the largest majority of compute users.
