{"id":8935,"date":"2014-09-16T23:19:12","date_gmt":"2014-09-16T22:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.5thdartfordscouts.org.uk\/?p=8935"},"modified":"2014-09-16T23:20:46","modified_gmt":"2014-09-16T22:20:46","slug":"2014-09-11-mayors-presentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.5thdartfordscouts.org.uk\/?p=8935","title":{"rendered":"2014-09-11 &#8211; Mayor&#8217;s Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paul our GSL met with Mayor Avtar Sandhu at the Civic Centre to collect the Mayor&#8217;s Cup awarded to &#8216;5th Dartford Scouts&#8217; as the best charity module at this years Dartford Festival (19th &amp; 20th July) where the fundraising team arranged Cross-Bows, Book &amp; Puzzle sale, a one-pole bridge pioneering project where we raised funds for our new hall fund, the Dartford Japan Jamboree Scouts also joined us with the Mayor drawing the prize winners of their raffle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A big thank you to all Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and Parents who represented 5th Dartford Scouts so well that we were awarded this prize.
