{"id":724,"date":"2009-05-25T20:08:44","date_gmt":"2009-05-25T19:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.5thdartfordscouts.org.uk\/?p=724"},"modified":"2009-10-19T14:06:51","modified_gmt":"2009-10-19T13:06:51","slug":"district-jamboree-22nd-25th-may-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.5thdartfordscouts.org.uk\/?p=724","title":{"rendered":"2009-05-22\/25 &#8211; District Jamboree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Friday 22nd May, the leaders\u00a0set off bright and early to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waltonfirs.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Walton Firs<\/a> campsite in Cobham to set up what was to be a very successful Jamboree camp indeed. The weather was the best we&#8217;d seen this year and our booty of awards was a fair haul too. The Fifth netted 1st place for both the over and under 14&#8217;s cardboard canoe race with a first and second place overall; and thanks to the <a href=\"?page_id=23\">Collins Cub Pack<\/a>, the 5th also won the tug-o-war. Accreditation was also received with the 5th winning a third in the Cubs gun carriage race.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The overall camp atmosphere was bustling and just listening to the group at mealtimes it was clear the group were having a fab time.
