Games were played (thanks to Ted) whilst some of The Leaders laid out a large buffet lunch. Then at 1pm we were visited by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.safaripete.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Safari Pete&#8217;.<\/a> First all the Beavers &amp; Cubs had to search the grounds outside in the snow for wildlife and lo &amp; behold a grass snake was found in the bushes.<\/p>\n<p>Then it was back inside to be introduced to his many furry and feathered friends from a Barn Owl, Scorpion, Tarantula and Toad to a Skunk, Large Snake and the most popular Meerkat. The children (and the Leaders) where all allowed to touch, stroke and feel the animals as you can see in the photos below.<\/p>\n<p>What an experience!!
